Going back to games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic or even Jade Empire, BioWare has created fun and interesting characters from all walks of life, and the Mass Effect series is no different.Īmusingly enough, I actually feel like the one character that doesn’t really need, or in some ways deserve, to be talked about in this sense is probably your own character, Commander Shepard. That’s probably why BioWare has always done such a great job with their storylines in games. If you want a good story, you need good characters.
